Our reproduction Model 1917 Imperial German Visor Caps (Schirmmützen), are BRAND NEW and made in Germany. They are exact reproductions, NOT cheap conversions or movie props. They are EXACTLY like the originals and are made with the correct materials and all the details. The M1917 visor cap has a soft, green leather visor and is constructed in "Crusher" form. These come in authentic grey wool with green cap band and piping and Prussian and Reich cockades.

Ganz hervorragend gearbeitete Mütze!

Bin sehr begeistert von dieser Mütze. Das einzige, was ich habe ändern müssen, waren- aufgrund Dienstgrad- die Kokarden(Sergeant und Offizierskokarden paßt nunmal nicht). Stunden- und tagelanges Tragen hatte keinerlei negative Auswirkungen (Druckstellen, Kopfschmerzen, o.ä.) zur Folge. Selbst die heftigsten Regengüsse in Verdun hat diese Mütze nicht aus der Form gebracht! Fazit: Ich kann diese Mütze bedenkenlos weiterempfehlen!

I had a while ago bought a "cheap" (£49) M1915 Schirmmütze on an english website... This has no comparison with the M1917 of Erel! Whereas the cheap product was made fully of synthetics, had a plastic visor, a kind of weird smell and an incorrect size, with undetailed cockades; this Erel cap is made of real wool with a real leather sweatband, has a hard leather visor, no inconvenient smell, a perfect shape and high quality cockades. And its look is even enhanced by the addition of the chinstrap and buttons, though you have to mount it yourself. Also quite confortable to wear and available in the "in-between" sizes like mine (57). And usual perfect delivery!

Nach längerer Tragezeit mit und ohne Belastung keine Druckstellen. Die Kopfbedeckung ist sehr bequem zu tragen.
