Imperial German Pilot Badge

Imperial German Army Pilot badge was awarded to German aviators during World War I. It was worn pinned to the left breast pocket of the uniform. Our reproduction is nickel-plated. The badge depicts an early monoplane flying over a pastoral scene, surrounded by a wreath composed of oak leaves on the right and laurel leaves on the left, surmounted by the imperial crown. The reverse has a simple pin-back.
